WATCH: Thomas Rhett's Video For 'American Spirit'
Country music singer Thomas Rhett recently debuted his latest official music video for his new patriotic single ‘American Spirit’.
The song is taken from the Grammy-nominated stars’ deluxe version of his smash-hit sophomore album ‘Tangled Up’.
The official video was a surprise for Thomas Rhett’s loyal fans, and was shared by the ‘Die A Happy Man’ hitmaker at the end of 2016.
The current release is not an official single from the hit LP, but Rhett decided to make an official video for the track as he loves the song so much and as a gift to the fans. He says he shot the video “just to share with our fans.”.
Speaking about the video for ‘American Spirit’ in an official press release, the 26-year-old said:
“ ‘American Spirit’ is one of my favourite songs to sit down and play on an acoustic guitar, so, I knew I wanted to make a video for it … I knew I wanted it to be simple and something that would pull on the heartstrings, and I think it’s the perfect blend of that.”
The clip for the patriotic track was filmed outside of Nashville, and directed by TK McKamy, who has worked with Thomas Rhett in the past on videos for ‘Star of the Show’, ‘Die A Happy Man’, ‘Crash and Burn’, and more.
